Our blog is all about baking with kids, however this recipe is for grown-ups only!
Halloween was this week, and as expected, my kids kids only shared the candy with me that they didn’t like. What does that mean? Well, the day after Halloween, I have an abundance of Three Musketeers. Three Musketeers are alright, but I brought these kids into this world, can’t they share a Reese’s or maybe a Kit Kat? Heck, I’d take a banana flavored Laffy Taffy, but no such luck.
So this year, as I sat with my stack of Three Musketeers, I felt inspired to snazz those babies up and bake up something spectacular! Something for moms and dads only. Something like, White Russian Brownies with melted Three Musketeers and Kalhua infused homemade whipped cream. Boom.
While this sounds like a super complicated dessert, it’s far from it. I used a box of Ghirardelli Brownie Mix, and if you haven’t made homemade whipped cream, it’s the easiest recipe you’ve probably ever tried. This recipe is over-the-top delicious and would be perfect for an office holiday party or just to warm you up on a cozy night, this winter.
What candy do you get left with after Halloween? I would love to know how you make the most of your Halloween candy stash!

These look delicious! I love kahlua! Normally, the hubby and I turn to my Bailey’s Irish creme brownies when we need an “adult” treat, but I definitely plan on adding these to our line up as well.
Just to clarify, when you say to “bake as directed,” do you mean to add the eggs, oil, etc listed on the brownie mix? Or is it just the alcohol and powdered brownie mix going into the oven?
I’m so excited to try these!

Hi Britta!
I’m so glad you asked.
Baked as directed in this case means adding the eggs and oil as referenced on the box. Of course you will also combine the Kahlua into your batter as well prior to popping the brownies in the oven! Let me know how they turn out! The Kahlua whipped cream is incredible!!
