Hello sweet friends!
As promised, we wanted to continue our series on fall recipes inspired by Bath and Body Works. The idea of baking desserts inspired by fragrances is one of those crazy concepts that only comes about when you have a teenage girl in the house! One bite of one of these sweet, seasonal recipes however, and this crazy baking idea will start making plenty of sense.
This week we are sharing a breakfast recipe that will warm you from the inside out. These Pumpkin Pecan Waffles were inspired by a fragrance of the same name in the Bath and Body Works fall lineup.
To make these waffles we used my very favorite Breville Waffle Iron from Williams-Sonoma. You can use any waffle iron you like, of course, I just love the flatter waffles made by this brand. Also, since we made these while on a time crunch, we used Krusteaz pancake mix, and added fall flavors to take them to a whole new level. The result is a soft, lightly pumpkin-flavored waffle with topped off with the crunch of fresh pecans and a drizzling of maple syrup. Yum! Get ready to fall in love with you new favorite breakfast recipe….

When it comes to baking, it’s okay to let yourself be inspired by any of your surroundings. Maybe you are inspired by color, by culture, by flavor, or even by fragrance. The main goal when baking is to allow yourself to be fully creative, and have the courage to bake your great ideas into a sweet reality.
